Happy Birthday, Amara Karen Hutchison!

Today Amara turned 4 years old. The years have flown by too fast. I remember slow clearly the day I had her. My labor went so well and when she came out I grabbed her so fast. The doctor said that it was the fasted grab she'd ever seen. As I held "the Baby" tightly the doctor said, "do you want to know what it is? " I said "OH, ya!!" She said, "It's a girl!" I was so happy, but really it didn't matter what I had I was just happy to have a healthy baby. As I looked at her closely I saw red dots on the corners of her eyes. I mentioned it to the nurse and she said, some babies are born with those, they are called angel kisses. They will fade in time. I thought that was ironic since she was named after my mom, Karen.

Now that she is 4 her personality is really blooming. Amara is very sweet, kind, thankful, helpful, creative, & thoughtful. She does have her yelling spells. We are working on that. Her and Kai have their fights, but so far she is really sweet to Brielle.

We had her party on Saturday. The sun was shining and we barbequed. Amara got a lots of Barbie stuff and her first Ken doll. Those Kens always crack me up. Surfer Ken is a hottie. ; ) She got some puzzles and dresses too and a fun princess chair. She is starting to dress up, she loves to color, play outside, paint, be read to, and her favorite show it Max and Ruby. Her cake was fun to make, she has such a sweet tooth. She was all lickin' the frosting any chance she got. I couldn't find any princess candies to put on top so I took a picture of her posing with a feather boa (sp?) and tiara pretending to be a princess and put it on her cake with crown candle.

Today Lane & Tasha made it to town. Amara has been having fun playing with the boys and our neighbor Abby.
